This week we have been looking at various E & D issues, and taken part in workshops to do with discrimination and bullying, and discussion groups about LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender).

This week we visited these 2 galleries, which were showing a wide range of craft, sculpture & painting, including entries from the BP Portrait award, which were exceptional.

enviroment project

we made some 3D structures of the enviroment to draw from for this project.

Today we had a great talk about drawing from Rona, and did some studies from still life,, it was hard but really inspirational.

hArt

Today we walked round the hArt exhibitions in Hereford, saw some inspiring work, which informed our 2D work in the afternoon. sue began filming for our video of A Year in the Life of Level 2 Diploma :)

CREATIVE START IN JULY

In the summer break, some of the students came in to do an introductory week, called Creative Start.. heres some photos of the week, where we experimented with everything from collage to sellotape sculpture :)
